Carole Robb was born in Scotland and received her BFA in Painting from the Glasgow School of Art, Scotland, and her MFA from the University of Reading, England, where she studied with Terry Frost. Her numerous awards include the Prix de Rome, British Arts Council Major Award in Painting, Fulbright Fellowship, and a GL Fondazione Fellowship to Venice, Italy.
Her solo exhibitions include the South London Gallery and Museum, London; J.T. Fassbinder, Berlin; Forum Gallery, New York City, and C’a D’Oro Gallery, Rome. Public collections include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City; Imperial War Museum, London, and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
Carole Robb has taught at the Slade School of Fine Art, London; Royal College of Art, London, and the American University, Rome. She currently teaches Painting at the New York Studio School in New York City.
Robb has a studio in Rome, Italy and in New York City, where she lives and works.
